A Good Fit Starts With A Good Measure
You don't need anything complicated.
Just grab:
A soft measuring tape
Then let your dog stand naturally on all four paws.
Keep the tape comfortably against the body — snug, but never tight.
For the most accurate result:
- Measure when your dog is relaxed.
- Keep them standing naturally.
- Don't pull the tape too tightly.
- Measure twice if you're unsure.
- Use their current measurements, not an old size.
One small measurement can make a big difference.

1. BACK LENGTH
Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.

Should I choose a size based on my dog's breed?
We don't recommend choosing a size based on breed alone.
Dogs of the same breed can have very different body shapes and proportions.
For the best fit, compare your dog's current measurements with our size chart.
What if my dog is between two sizes?
Size up.
If one of your dog's key measurements is at the upper end of a size range, we recommend choosing the next size up.
A little extra room is better than a tight fit.
What measurement is the most important?
For clothing, chest measurement is usually the most important, because it affects breathing room and overall comfort.
We still recommend checking all three measurements — neck, chest, and back length.
My dog has a lot of fur. Should I size up?
If your dog has a thick or fluffy coat, allow a little extra room.
If they're already at the upper end of a size range, we recommend sizing up.
What if my dog's measurements don't match one size?
That's completely normal.
Dogs don't come in perfectly standardized shapes.
Choose the size that accommodates the largest key measurement, especially the chest.

Can I use my dog's weight to choose a size?
Weighct can be a helpful reference, but it shouldn't be your only measurement.
Two dogs with the same weight may have very different chest, neck, and back measurements.
Measure first. Weight second.
How should dog clothes fit?
The clothing should feel comfortable without restricting movement.
Your dog should be able to:
Walk. Sit. Stretch. Play. Rest.
If the clothing pulls, pinches, restricts movement, or feels overly tight, try the next size up.
Do all UNFENCED products fit the same?
Not necessarily.
Different products can have different cuts, fabrics, stretch, and intended fits.
That's why some products include their own product-specific measurements.
