The Five-Minute Test

Imagine your dog wearing a shirt for five minutes.

Nothing unusual happens.

They walk around.

They sniff the floor.

They stretch.

They sit down.

They lie on their bed.

Then they get up again.

Does the shirt still sit where it should?

Does anything pull when they move?

Does the fabric bunch up?

Does your dog keep trying to scratch at it?

Five minutes can tell you a lot.

The "Forget They're Wearing It" Test

Would you reach for this shirt?

If the answer is yes, you've probably got something useful.

When we look at a piece of dog clothing, we don't start by asking whether it looks good in a product photo.

We ask a few simpler questions.

Would a dog be comfortable wearing this for an ordinary afternoon?

Can they move naturally?

Is it easy for their person to put on?

Does it work beyond one specific occasion?

Would we want to reach for it again next week?

Those questions are much more useful to us than trying to make every piece feel extraordinary.

Because everyday clothing doesn't need to be extraordinary.

It needs to be dependable.

The Best Piece Might Become The Most Ordinary One

There's something funny about the clothes we end up loving most.

Eventually, we stop noticing them.

That's probably the highest compliment an everyday dog shirt can receive.
